Chris' CV doesn’t read like a conventional one. Less a linear path to the top. More a series of leaps from one peak to another.
Scratching the entrepreneurial itch
It all kicked off in the world of TV. To learn the ropes and earn his stripes, Chris happily started right at the bottom. Rising quickly through the ranks, he soon found himself sitting on the board, running the show, living the corporate life. To scratch a persistent 'entrepreneurial itch', he then decided to switch direction to set up a number of start-up ventures - sold one - shut two - kept the other. Learnt a lot.
Re-writing the script
Then, when his young family called, he decided to re-write his script completely. To create a ‘life 2.0’ that would give him the space to invest time in his family, whilst building a portfolio of expanding business interests. Not simply as a feat of work/life balancing, but as a genuine personal mission.
fulfilment and commercial success
The hard graft, precipice-leaping and ability to constantly adapt, now find him running 1Lp Ltd which provides management and commercial services to publishers including Broadband TV News, the market-leading trade site for multi-screen TV; managing a multi-million pound London based residential property portfolio; and seven years into an extremely successful and rewarding career as a life/business coach helping others to think about change, take the leap, or take control.

More than twenty five years' management experience in a variety of senior roles within media companies including MTV, Granada and ITV.
Ran a successful portfolio of small-and medium-sized business.
Built and managed from scratch a residential property portfolio currently worth £8m
Founded and managed three independent businesses - two consultancies and one VC-backed Internet-delivered TV platform.
Holds an ACC qualification from the International Coach Federation.
Helped 100's of individuals to better personal outcomes as a coach
